Four

Harold Budd (Heavenly Monkey 2010)

Four new poems by the American composer and musician. To accompany the poems Harold created four copper plate etchings, which in style and theme continue his exploration of the enigmatic "arabesques" designs that previously appeared in Colorful Fortune and Carnival. Each etching is named for a film director: Akerman, Cocteau, Jarman and Anger.

Set in Bembo, printed at HM on Arches Text (6 x 9.5 inches, 10 pp plus frontis). Etchings printed at New Leaf Editions. Edition of 50 copies: the first 10 are Patron copies, containing all four of the etchings. Copies 11-50 contain one etching, as a frontis. Sewn into a printed handmade paper wrap.
