Duensing Titling

A new typeface cut & cast in metal
Jim Rimmer (Heavenly Monkey 2003)

A miniature book displaying a new 60-pt titling face designed, engraved & cast by Jim Rimmer of the Pie Tree Press. The face is named for American typographer Paul Hayden Duensing. The book consists of two text signatures (a foreword and afterword by Jim) set in 8-point Bembo and printed on dampened Hahnemuhle Ingres. These signatures bookend the alphabet in Duensing Titling, printed on Reg Lissel’s handmade paper, accordion-fold style extending over five feet long.

Sewn signatures & accordion fold (2.35 x 3 inches) cased in boards with printed vellum spine. Edition of 50 copies signed and numbered by Jim Rimmer.
