Duensing Titling

Jim Rimmer

A miniature book displaying a new 60-pt titling face designed, engraved & cast by Jim Rimmer of the Pie Tree Press & Type Foundry. The face was named for American typographer Paul Hayden Duensing. The book consists of two text signatures (a foreword and afterword by Jim) set in 8-point Bembo and printed on dampened Hahnemuhle Ingres. These signatures bookend the alphabet in Duensing Titling, printed on Reg Lissel’s handmade paper, accordion-fold style extending over five feet long.

Sewn signatures & accordion fold cased in boards with printed vellum spine. Edition of 50 copies signed and numbered by Jim Rimmer. Miniature book. 2003
